Adding an Additional VBPTC Position


Applications for adding new or changing existing Basic Training positions must be submitted to the VBPTC (coordinator@vbptc.com.au) by October 31 annually.

 
 

Applications for adding new or changing existing Basic Training positions will be reviewed using the following process:

  • Applications received by relevant health services (by 31 October, annually)

  • Applications reviewed by the VBPTC Statewide Governance Committee (November)

  • Recommendations from the SGC discussed with relevant health services (November – January)

  • Final review and approval completed by the SGC (February)

  • Approved position changes incorporated into the centralised recruitment process managed by RCH and MCH (April – August)

  • Positions commence the following clinical year
